Small Business Workshops

SCORE workshops are practical as opposed to mostly theory; full of information you can put to use right now. They are geared specifically to help you get started in business or enhance your existing one. All workshops are conducted by experienced SCORE counselors and/or working professionals expert in their field.

Workshop Calendar and Descriptions

The Calendar contains Topics, Descriptions, Speakers, Venues with Maps and the capability to register and pay online by credit card. Online registration is not a requirement. You can call our office and mail in your payment (5 days prior to workshop), or you can attend any workshop and pay at the door on a space available basis. View our workshop calendar now.

Registrant:
$30.00 if you register on line and pay by credit card or by check mailed 5 days in advance of workshop.

$35.00 at the door

Guest of Registrant:
$20.00 if registered online

$25.00 at the door (limit 3 guests)

Cancellation Policy

Send your name, email address, workshop date and workshop name, 48 hours prior to the workshop date, to info@scoremaine.com with "Workshop Cancel" on the Subject line. You will receive an email reply. Take the reply message to a subsequent workshop, within six months, and your payment will apply to that workshop fee. No Refunds.

SCORE Success Passes

Score Success Passes are available for the four basic workshops: Starting Your Own Business, Writing a Business Plan, Marketing and Sales and Buying a Business. Please note these Passes may not be used for the special workshops we conduct periodically on internet, web design and other specialized subjects. These presenters are professionals currently working in their field and they charge us for their time. Since SCORE is a 501.c.3 nonprofit organization we must pass these nominal costs on to our clients.

Score Success Passes are available for $75.00 when registering online or $80.00 at the door. With a Success Pass you can attend an unlimited number of workshops for a six-month period. To purchase a Success Pass just register online and choose the first workshop that you want to attend, you will have a choice of registering for the workshop with or without a Success Pass.

Success Passes are also available at the door. If you have already paid for a workshop, bring the confirmation email you will receive to the workshop and request a Success Pass. Your will be credited the $30.00 already paid, the balance due of $45.00 can be paid by cash or check. Sorry No Credit Cards at the door.

Success passes for guests (3 maximum) are $60.00 ea. when registering online and $65.00 ea. at the door

NOTE: If you are a Success Pass holder you can register for workshops during the six-month period online. Alternatively you can email the workshops names along with the dates that you want to attend and the Success Pass confirmation number to info@scoremaine.com and you will be assigned a reserved seat. You will be provided details when you receive your pass.
